Amid loud and buoyant cheering, the day witnessed an array of presentations varying from dancing and singing extravaganza to brilliant exhibition of performing skills. The celebrations began with a zestful march past and flag hoisting followed by the national anthem. The fervour and enthusiasm was beautifully carried forward with the release of tri-coloured balloons, spreading the message of peace, harmony and courage. The audience was overwhelmed with the remarkable performance of ‘The Eighth Note Academy’ along with the delightful performance by the tiny tots of Mother’s Pride. The Big League Academy presented an awe-inspiring and fabulous series of performances. The flexibility, strength and vigour of Yoga performers left students mesmerized and enthralled. The last but not the least was the musical dance performance by ‘The Rhythm of The Soul Academy’ that received a galore of cheering and admiration, transcending the onlookers into the realm of actual occurrence. 13-08-2017
Krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu, to celebrate which, a special assembly was recently conducted at Presidium Indirapuram by the children of Pre-Primary grade. With immense enthusiasm and grandeur, the spiritual and religious significance of this pious festival was explained to the students through dramatization and role play. Children came dressed in beautiful colourful outfits as Krishna and Radha. The boys wore peacock feather head-gears and carried flutes, whereas the girls carried decorated matkis. Adorned in gorgeous attires, the tiny tots drew huge applause and appreciation from all. The story of the birth of ‘Lord Krishna’ was narrated and beautifully enacted by our little kids with ‘mach gaya shor saari nagri re’ song being played in the background. The lifting of ‘Govardhan Parvat’ on the finger and ‘dahi handi or matki phod ’ sport enacted by the kids were the highlights of the show. Excitedly celebrating the occasion by singing and dancing, the Presidians were motivated to follow the path of  truth and honesty and shun evil.
