International Tiger Day has been observed every year since 2010 to promote the protection and expansion of the wild tiger habitats and raise public awareness and support for tiger conservation issues. To promote this cause, our Presidians conducted a special online assembly on 'Save Tigers.' The young leaders talked about important facts about tigers and their pivotal role in balancing & maintaining the ecosystem. They expressed how these magnificent creatures will be on the verge of extinction if we don't join hands to save them. Little Presidians were also engaged in the activity of making papercraft tiger and writing slogans 'SHOOT THE TIGER WITH THE CAMERA NOT WITH THE GUN,' 'LOOK AT THE TIGERS MIGHTY AND STRONG, KILLING THEM FOR THEIR FUR IS VERY WRONG,' and many more. At the end of the session, many students expressed a desire to work someday in the field of conservation of wildlife.
