Presidians celebrated the 74th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. They paid tribute to all the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives. Dressed in hues of tricolour the staff and the students graced the flag hoisting ceremony followed by the National Anthem. Students of grade Nursery, Prep, and One listened to stories about the freedom fighters and also discussed India's National symbols. Students made Tulips by paper folding and also made tricolour birds along with dance on patriotic songs. Grade two and three students participated in activities wherein they enacted as Freedom Fighters and made tricolour sandwiches spreading the message of peace, non-violence, and love for the nation and enjoyed this patriotic day followed by sharing and patriotic songs. Young patriots of Grade 4, 5, and 6 made a tricolour fruit trifle using fruits and ice cream.
