Online technologies have removed the barriers of time, cost, and location from students' learning activities and experiences. Students of Grade 2 were taken on a virtual 'neighborhood walk' around the school to explore the neighborhood places. Through this activity, students got an opportunity to see various places in the school's neighborhood. Student response to the activity was overwhelmingly positive. In the sharing experiences and learning during the virtual walk, it was evident that many students explored various places. Students appreciate the change from reading text documents, viewing videos, and responding to discussion probes.
