Diwali is a most celebrated festival in India and stands out as a festival of sparkling lights, fun, and joy. It is a time for creative Rangoli and bandhanwar, decorating homes and time for the finest delicacies and pooja offerings.
Children always love to celebrate and they enjoy a lot during the festival. They always want to extend a helping hand in celebration. At Presidium, they celebrated Diwali with their friends and teachers by sharing sweets and Diwali wishes. They also made beautiful bandhanwar during club activity. Teachers shared stories about Diwali and children decorated their bandhanwar with bright colors, sparkles, glitters and other decorative material. Children know that bandhanwar is a decorative material in Diwali celebration and teacher made them aware that it is the name of a sacred gateway and it is used to decorate the main entrance of the home.
Children enjoyed the activity and they got a chance to use their creative bend of mind. They shared their ideas of decoration with their friends. It was a fun filled activity and it enhanced their joy of celebration when they carried home, their creative pieces as a token of love for their parents.
