National Doctors' Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India to honour the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day is celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. We, at Presidium School, celebrated this day to mark the importance of doctors in our lives. The students were briefed about the role of various kinds of doctors - Physicians, Ortho. ENT; etc. The students were dressed up as various kinds of doctors, and they role-played using their medical instruments/tools used while treating patients. This was an activity that made the students realize the importance of doctors, their hard work, commitment, especially during this challenging time of Covid 19.
