"Daughters are the joy of a mother and father’s heart, beauty and sweetness describe them from the start."
Every year, the fourth Sunday of September is celebrated as Daughters Day in India, this year the day falls on September 26. On this day, parents appreciate their daughters and celebrate the gift of their existence. This day was first founded to get rid of the stigma around having a girl child. However, people often celebrate it by sharing wishes, presents, and chocolates with their daughters. Presidians of Grade 2 and 3 celebrated this beautiful day in club period where all talented girls dressed up as one of the famous female Indian personalities like Mary Kom, Sania Mirza, Kalpana Chawla, Priyanka Chopra, Indira Gandhi, etc. or even as their beautiful mother, sister, grandmother or aunt and also spoke few lines about them. Amazing boys prepared two to three lines on the topic of daughter's day or some of them even recited a poem or slogan to appreciate all the wonderful daughters of our country for their hard work.
