“Lord Shiva is a symbol, a possibility, and a source of tools to transform yourself and create your own life.”
Mahashivaratri is a great festival in Hinduism, celebrated annually with devotion and religious enthusiasm in honour of Lord Shiva, deities of the Hindu Trinity. The literal meaning of Shivratri is “The Great Night of Lord Shiva.” To feel the verve of the festival, a special activity on Mahashivratri was conducted by the little Presidians. The activity started on a pious note by offering heartfelt prayers to Lord Shiva and reciting shlokas. Thereafter students spoke about the significance of Mahashivratri with great zeal and zest. The celebrations concluded with our little Presidians by graceful dance performances and making the poster of Shiva Lingam.
