FRIENDSHIP DAY: CELEBRATING THE BLISS OF FRIENDSHIP
Friendship means familiar and liking of each other's mind. A friend is one who admires a person's skill and helps or encourages them to make the right choices and do not get into any trouble at all.People who are friends talk to each other and spend time together. They also help each other when they are in trouble or are hurt. Friends are people that can be looked up to and trusted. The strength of the bond of friendship between two people can vary. If the bond is very strong, they are called best friends. This can usually be achieved by possessing the elements of friendship, by being kind, generous, loyal, honest and by having fun. With these qualities you can truly enjoy the bliss of friendship. This is exactly what our Presidians found in their buddies at Presidium. They enjoyed Friendship Day celebrations with their peers and also exchange friendship bands with them.

PRESIDIANS SUCCESSFULLY CREATE ART FROM THEIR HEART!
Children draw to express what they are feeling and thinking. When a child draws something familiar to them, they have the opportunity to think about what they know and how they feel about the picture they are drawing. Drawing helps to develop manipulative skills that will assist children to write. Drawing and colouring competition is always one of the most enjoyable competitions since it allows free flow of creativity and imagination. An ‘Art from Heart’ competition was recently organized to explore and encourage creativity in Presidians and offer them a platform to show their skills in drawing and colouring. They participated earnestly in the competition. It was a difficult task thereafter for the class teachers to short list outstanding performers from each class. The students came up with amazing art work at drawing.
