He who thought power lies in the herculean muscles of an army, he who thought strength lies in the gilded monuments, he who thought unbreakable were the chains of reinforced metal, knew not the potential of the humble thread tied around the wrist of a brother by his loving sister. 

The students of Presidium School celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan with our honourable Chairperson Mrs.Sudha Gupta. With smiles, sweets and mirth, our students understood that no matter how much siblings may argue, bicker and fight, there is no love like the love for a brother, and there is no love like the love from a brother. Sudha Ma’am also showered her warm blessings on the students and embraced the rituals of the occasion with them. 

India is an emotion. It is an atmosphere, a celebration. India is incredible!  On the occasion of our 73rd Independence Day, the students of Presidium Indirapuram brought the various colours of the country alive on stage. With spell-binding dance performances inspired by the Indian diversity, daring stunts and pyramid formations, mesmerising medleys, and heart-wrenching poems dedicated to the brave-hearts, our talented students paid homage to the fallen heroes.

Our honorable Chairperson Sudha Gupta ma'am too left the audience awestruck with her tear-jerking melodious ode to our valiant soldiers. Let us all take this day as an opportunity to promise our motherland that we will do everything to enrich and preserve its prized heritage and culture.

'A love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions'

Rakshabandhan is a festival which celebrates the love and affection between brother and sister. The bonding between the two is simply unique and is beyond description.People of India celebrate this festival with abundant zeal, similarly students of grade 5 enthusiastically celebrated the pious festival of Rakshabandhan. They presented a meaningful skit on the significance of this sacred festival. The essence of the festival was further conveyed through a mesmerizing dance performance.

Friendship means familiar and liking of each other's mind.  A friend is one who admires a person's skill and helps or encourages them to make the right choices and do not get into any trouble at all.People who are friends talk to each other and spend time together. They also help each other when they are in trouble or are hurt. Friends are people that can be looked up to and trusted. The strength of the bond of friendship between two people can vary. If the bond is very strong, they are called best friends. This can usually be achieved by possessing the elements of friendship, by being kind, generous, loyal, honest and by having fun. With these qualities you can truly enjoy the bliss of friendship. This is exactly what our Presidians found in their buddies at Presidium. They enjoyed Friendship Day celebrations with their peers and also exchange friendship bands with them. 

Contrary to the opinion of many people, leaders are not born. Leaders are made, and they are made by effort and hard work. Some of our young Presidians have been striving to achieve this pinnacle and have set an example for us to follow. It is now our turn to recognize their good work and encourage them. Presidium Indirapuram celebrated the success of its students, who have exemplified diligence, perseverance, and sincerity, with the Chairperson Honours 2018-19. Our esteemed Chairperson Sudha Gupta Ma’am acknowledged each of the steadfast achievers. As the students walked up to receive their recognition, the pride of their mentors and parents resonated in their thunderous applause. Presidium Indirapuram is proud to be the alma mater for these students, who shall be the vanguards among the leaders of tomorrow.

Presidium Indirapuram acknowledged and celebrated the academic milestones achieved by its students during its annual Academic Excellence Award ceremony for the academic session 2018-19. Our revered Chairperson Sudha Gupta Ma’am honoured each scholarly learner, congratulating them for keeping the Presidium banner flying high. The prizewinners are a true representation of everything that we stand for at Presidium. It is through such achievements that we are clearly able to see the skills, high expectations and commitment of the staff and students. Holding trophies, medals and certificates, every achiever stood proud- their accomplishments bearing testimony to their unswerving determination to turn every failure into an opportunity to begin again more passionately, because they understand that there are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

History, replete with revolutions and freedom struggles, is witness to the fact that democratic processes and institutions have always stood the test of time. Presidium Indirapuram witnessed the swearing into office of the Students Council for the academic session 2019-20. Our revered Chairperson Sudha Gupta Ma’am honored each member of the council with badges and sashes. With gleaming smiles, elated hearts, and heads held high, the newly elected Student Council took a vow to always keep the faith, to stand for what is just and right, to be upright and honest in all their actions and to keep the Presidium banner flying high. We bestow our blessings on our Council and wish them all the best in their endeavors. We are sure that they will work in tandem as a team, accountable for their actions and worthy of the trust that the institution has reposed in them.

The young Presidians of Indirapuram felt overwhelmed to present the special assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas. They felt a sense of pride and honour by celebrating an awesome victory of our bravehearted soldiers. They paid a small tribute to these gallant soldiers and pushed everyone to remember and respect the pains taken by them for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of one and all. They taught us that Captain Vikram Batra and Major Acharya live in all of us, we just need to arise and awaken them. Presidians took a vow to put the welfare of the nation first, the wellbeing of their fellow countrymen next and then their own comfort. A salute to these gallant soldiers and their sacrifice, They are fallen but not forgotten!
