Our talented young Prayank Patnaik of Grade 7th from Presidium, Indirapuram, was awarded by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways for acting in a short film based on the theme 'Over Speeding'. The event was organised by CBSE and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on 'Road Safety India - National Film Making contest'. The film will be telecasted on all the TV channels, movie theaters and public places as an awareness campaign on Road Safety.

In yet another proud moment for Presidium family our Indirapuram branch has been honoured with the Parakh School Awards. Recognising the contributions made by our school, Presidium Indirapuram has been bestowed with the ‘Hogwarts School Award’ (Bronze-2nd Runner UP) for overall performance in every field. The awards were organized for recognising the unnoticed contributions made by various schools towards the society. The event was held on 9th January and various schools from Delhi zone and NCR region participated at the event. The event is a unique platform for schools, educationists and field experts to showcase their contribution and capabilities in education ecosystem. This event is mentored by various Educationists, Writers, Sports Personalities, Planning and Implementing Professionals, leading child Psychiatrists, IT and Robotic Evangelists.

Presidian Shanya Mishra of Presidium, Indirapuram bagged a Bronze Medal and claimed Rs. 1 lakh cash prize at the 14th Parsvnath Delhi International Chess Tournament. The event was held from 9th to 16th January. 1050 students from 10 countries participated in the event out of which 11 students of Presidium Indirapuram took part in the tournament. Presidians Shanya, Satvik Sharma and Anshika Thapliyal gave an outstanding performance. Satvik and Anshika got ranking in the tournament. It was a remarkable achievement, the credit of which goes to our coach, Mr. Ashish.

They will represent Presidium at CBSE School National games 2015-2016 which is going to be held in Telangana, Andhra pradesh. Nitya and Prateet we are proud of you. Well done!

Our young Presidian, Aachita Kaira has made us proud again! Aachita of Grade VI from Presidium Indirapuram has been declared 'Best Painter of the Year 2015' amongst Top 15 in a National Level Painting Competition - Japan on Canvas 2015 organized by Experience Japan on 6th October. Best 30 Painters in two categories, all over India will be awarded. Aachita Kaira's work was on the theme 'Spirit of Japan’. Way to go Aachita!

Tanvi, a young Presidian of Grade II-A, Vivek Vihar Branch has once again made us proud by stealing the limelight in the advertisement of CENTRAL BOARD OF EXCISE & CUSTOM DEPARTMENT OF INDIA, published in THE TIMES OF INDIA, dated 20.09.15. Apart from this, she has recently completed her shoot for the kids serial ‘GALI-GALI SIM SIM’, which will be soon telecasted on POGO CHANNEL. Way to go, Tanvi. We are proud of you!

The students of Presidium Indirapuram of Grade XI & XII were given the opportunity to attend a special function on 4 September 2015, organised at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. The function was celebrated on the occasion of Daughter’s Day, wherein the students were made aware about issues concerning with the female population, and the ways to tackle them. Apart from this, the event also aimed at celebrating the spirit of daughters. Various issues such as misogynistic crimes, female infanticide and feticide, health care issues, poverty, lack of education, and several other topics related to women were addressed at the function. The ceremony was indeed a very enriching and enlightening experience for the students.

Presidians made us proud yet again by winning 1st position at Ethnic Tribal Dance Competition. In our endeavour to bring out the talent and potential of young dancers, Ethnic Tribal Dance Competition was conducted in Utsav 2015 at St Thomas, Indirapuram on 11 September. A total of 28 schools of Delhi/NCR participated in the competition, wherein 12 children of Presidium, Indirapuram bagged 1st Position. Our students performed very enthusiastically showcasing their skills in dancing. Our heartiest congratulations to the winners, we are proud of you!
