Tanvi, a young Presidian of Grade II-A, Vivek Vihar Branch has once again made us proud by stealing the limelight in the advertisement of CENTRAL BOARD OF EXCISE & CUSTOM DEPARTMENT OF INDIA, published in THE TIMES OF INDIA, dated 20.09.15. Apart from this, she has recently completed her shoot for the kids serial ‘GALI-GALI SIM SIM’, which will be soon telecasted on POGO CHANNEL. Way to go, Tanvi. We are proud of you!

The students of Presidium Indirapuram of Grade XI & XII were given the opportunity to attend a special function on 4 September 2015, organised at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. The function was celebrated on the occasion of Daughter’s Day, wherein the students were made aware about issues concerning with the female population, and the ways to tackle them. Apart from this, the event also aimed at celebrating the spirit of daughters. Various issues such as misogynistic crimes, female infanticide and feticide, health care issues, poverty, lack of education, and several other topics related to women were addressed at the function. The ceremony was indeed a very enriching and enlightening experience for the students.

Presidians made us proud yet again by winning 1st position at Ethnic Tribal Dance Competition. In our endeavour to bring out the talent and potential of young dancers, Ethnic Tribal Dance Competition was conducted in Utsav 2015 at St Thomas, Indirapuram on 11 September. A total of 28 schools of Delhi/NCR participated in the competition, wherein 12 children of Presidium, Indirapuram bagged 1st Position. Our students performed very enthusiastically showcasing their skills in dancing. Our heartiest congratulations to the winners, we are proud of you!

Presidium Indirapuram organized a Youth Parliament on Friday, 04 September 2015. The objective was to develop an insight into the parliamentary procedures, to train students in group discussion and to make them aware of public issues and form opinions. Presidians of Grades VII and VIII participated in the session with great zeal and enthusiasm. They were well prepared and seemed extremely confident about their roles as parliamentarians. The two-hour session comprised of oath taking, Question Hour, Introduction and Passing of The Bill, etc. which are all essential to a parliamentary session. The students shared their learning and experience of being a part of such an illuminating endeavor. The session proved to be an enjoyable and enriching experience for the students as it imparted some real citizenship education to them.

It's a matter of pride that she was recommended by Miss India Koyal Rana. Yatika has proved that she is a perfect example of a confident & charismatic Presidian. Great going Yatika, shine!

Our young chess champions outplayed their competitors with their exceptional performance in the UP State Level Chess Championship held between 17th to 19th July,2015 at Mahamaya Stadium, Noida. Among 34 female and 96 male participants, Anshika Thapliyal of Grade II and Shanya Mishra of Grade III of Presidium Indirapuram scored 4 points out of 5. And, their selection for the Nationals added to joy. Hooray girls, make your way!!

Winners reside in those who never quit! Our young talents
stood by this maxim and bagged laurels in Geomaty 2015 held at Amity
International School, Noida on 4 July, 2015. More than 25 schools of Delhi NCR
participated in this competition. Our budding artists from Grade 4 and 5
secured 2nd Position in Dance Drama, and artists of Grade 6 and 7 carried off
consolation prizes in Folk Dance and face painting. We are proud of you, and
wish you great luck for greater achievements!
