PRESIDIANS EXCEL AT NATIONAL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP

One more feather of glory added by the students of Presidium in the National Taekwondo Championship 2018 held at Ghaziabad Public School. It was a delight to see young Presidians glide their way to achieve goals. With a total of 500 participants from 6 states, Presidians brought laurels to the school by winning a Gold medal, 4 Silver medals and 3 Bronze medals in various categories of the competition like under-8 boys & girls and under-10 boys & girls.

SKATERS SHINE AT THE 3RD INTER SCHOOL SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

Great skaters are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion. This passion of our Presidians brought yet victory to the school. We are delighted to share that Presidium Indirapuram has many bagged laurels at 3rd Inter School Skating Championship 2018 at DPSGI DASNA. 14 schools participated in the Championship and 26 students participated from Presidium out of which 8 of them won medals in diverse age categories. Kashvi Arora from grade 2 won a gold, while Aryansh Sharma from grade 1 bagged a bronze medal in 4-6 years girls & boys category respectively. In the 6-8 years girls & boys category, our proud winners were Mahie from grade 3(Gold Medal), Shrey Malik(Silver Medal) & Pranay Rajput from grade 2(Bronze Medal). Shaeon Malhotra from grade 4 bagged a silver medal & Khevna Kushwaha from grade 3 won a bronze medal in 8-10 years girls category. Lastly, Arnav Rajput from grade 5 won a silver medal in 10-12 year boys category. We are also proud to share that we bagged the overall second position.

PRESIDIANS HONOUR THEIR TEACHERS ON TEACHERS' DAY

With this beautiful thought in mind, Presidium Indirapuram celebrated Teachers’ Day with full enthusiasm by organising a special assembly by the students of grades Nursery to 3. Celebrations kicked off with the recitation of beautiful shlokas followed by a beautiful speech and a wonderful dance performance by the students. The highlight of the assembly was a speech on the importance of celebrating this joyful day and enlightened all about the qualities of a teacher. The assembly concluded with a beautiful thought ‘A teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill love for learning’.

FESTIVITIES & RITUALS OF JANMASHTAMI BRING JOY TO PRESIDIANS

The birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. To accentuate the significance and importance of Janmashtami, a special assembly was organised at Presidium Indirapuram. The students of grade 2 presented a very informative and fun filled assembly to celebrate the festival. The assembly began with a Thought of the day, followed by the News Headlines. The students shared lovely incidents from the life of Shri Krishna and performed a skit depicting the birth of the Almighty. A scintillating and colourful dance performance also enthralled the students. The assembly ended with a message that the Almighty will always show us the right path of life and bestow us with peace and happiness.

PRESIDIUM IS HONOURED TO VISIT PM HOUSE ON RAKSHA BANDHAN

The young leaders were honoured with the opportunity to visit the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The students greeted the dignitary with warmth & love and tied colourful rakhis on his wrist. Shri Modi blessed the students and inspired them to always uphold the traditional values of this nation. It was one of the most memorable days for our proud Presidians.

PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE THE AUSPICIOUS OCCASION OF RAKHI WITH JOY

‘The paths may change as life goes along, but the bond between a brother and sister remains forever strong’. 
Raksha Bandhan is celebrated to revisit and strengthen the bond between a brother and sister. Presidium Indirapuram organized a special assembly to celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The event commenced with invoking the blessing of the Almighty. The students then showcased a spectacular skit depicting the historical significance of the festival. The Vice Principals Ms Manvinder Kaur and Ms. Rachna Babbar also addressed the students with their inspiring words encouraging them to tie a rakhi not just on the wrist of their brothers but our siblings irrespective of the gender.

PRESIDIANS PRAY FOR SUCCESS, PEACE AND HAPPINESS ON EID-UL-ADHA

Eid is a festival of utmost sacrifice and exhibition of love towards Allah. In resonance with these thoughts, Presidium Indirapuram gave a platform to its students to celebrate one of the festival of Eid-Ul-Adha. A special assembly was organised by the students of grade 2 which began with recitation of the gayatri mantra. It was followed by an inspirational dance performance which highlighted the essence of this festival symbolising faith and love towards the Almighty. The premises were filled with a festive aura as the young Presidians exchanged greetings and warm wishes!

YOGA MAESTROS BRING BACK GLORY FROM 36TH YOGA SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP

Another feather of glory was added to the cap of the students of Presidium Indirapuram. The 36th UP State Yoga Sports Championship was recently held in Lucknow wherein 1050 students participated, 7 of which were Presidians. Dishanya Gupta of  grade 6, Harshika & Aarna Bansal of grade 5, Pratiksh & Kanishka Pawar of grade 7, Bhavi Jain of grade 9 and Akshita Goswami of grade 11 won gold, silver & bronze medals in Artistic Yoga Pair, Yoga Asana Artistic Yoga Solo and Rhythmic Yoga Pair. Five of them were also selected for the 43rd National Yoga Sports Championship to be held in Patiala, Punjab. Kudos to all the winners!

PRESIDIANS MARK THE HISTORIC DAY OF INDEPENDENCE WITH SUDHA GUPTA

Presidium Indirapuram celebrated the nation’s 72nd Independence Day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifices of our great freedom fighters. The occasion was graced by the honourable Chairperson Ms.Sudha Gupta and other dignitaries. The celebration started in the school premises with unfurling of the national flag. As a mark of respect a glorious March Past was carried out by the Student Council Members. This was followed by the Chairperson’s addressal which further ignited patriotism and reverence for those who laid down their lives for the nation. On the proud occasion, few students from the school presented a patriotic song followed by a magical classical dance prepared specially in honour of the nation. The celebration concluded with the national song, ‘Vande Mataram’, evoking the feeling of patriotism among all present.

Let’s stand up for the land where Gods dwell and the birds break into soulful melody! Let’s pay humble homage to the land who taught the world how to live, love and laugh in brotherhood and harmony! We at Presidium Indirapuram salute  to our motherland – INDIA! The children of grade pre-primary at Presidium also displayed their love and spirit for their country with a special assembly on Independence Day. Dressed as freedom fighters, the tiny tots showcased their patriotism as they sang with pride in their cute voices. They also confidently recited the famous dialogues for which these brave freedom fighters are remembered and celebrated. In small innocent way, they truly expressed their gratefulness and respect for the heroes who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, for our country.
