Enveloped in the purifying warmth of the ‘holy fire’ and the fragrance of incense, the students of grade 10 & 12 sat with their eyes shut and head bowed in reverence as the environment resonated with spiritual mantras. Hundreds of students, along with their teachers, sought the Almighty's blessings for the upcoming CBSE Board Examinations. The gathering was honoured by the presence of the Vice Principal (Academics), Vice Principal (Operations) and all Academic Heads. Our Vice Principals enlightened the students with their words of wisdom and highlighted the importance of being good human beings before pursuing a career. May the Divine Spirit shower his blessings upon our students, today and always.

AN AWARENESS DRIVE FOR THE NEED OF RURAL SANITATION & HYGIENE

The staff of Presidium Indirapuram visited Mandaula village, Loni to spread awareness regarding the need for sanitation and hygiene of young girls in rural areas. The school initiated the awareness drive under the aegis of the Ghaziabad Government Scheme and guidance of the DM. The team of Counselors had an interesting & interactive session with young girls, their mothers and grandmothers to ensure the long lasting effect of the initiative, along with distribution of sanitary napkins. Analysis of challenges faced to continue the usage will be shared with concerned authorities. Overall, it was a learning experience for all.

SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCES AT THE PRESIDIUM FUTURE FEST 2019!

The two day long gala event, Future Fest 2019, held at Siri Fort Auditorium on 16th & 17th February saw some of the most entertaining and spectacular performances by our young leaders of tomorrow. It was a celebration of the genius, skill, ideas, passion, craft and talents of our young Presidians. The event began with a soulful rendition of Ganesh Vandana followed by performances on various social issues and a tribute to our brave soldiers. The enthusiasm and energy of the young performers could be felt in the auditorium as the audience cheered for the Presidians.

TAEKWONDO CHAMPS SHOWCASE THEIR POWER AT INTER SCHOOL COMPETITION

The young and talented champions of Presidium Indirapuram added another feather to the cap of glory. 45 students participated at the 30th Delhi State Taekwondo Championship 2018 held at Thyagraj Indoor Stadium. Presidium won 23 medals at the Championship including 7 Golds, 2 Silvers and 14 Bronze in different categories. We congratulate all the winners and the participants for representing the school and reaching the heights of success.

PRESIDIANS LEARN ABOUT THE SEA AND THE SAND WITH A FUN ACTIVITY

Under the theme ‘Sea’ students of grade 1 got an opportunity to step into the role of the next Frank Llyod Wright. With an aim to acquaint students about the features and characteristics of the sea habitat, the creatures living in the sea and give them the feeling of the beautiful sea beaches, an interesting Sand Pit activity was recently organised. A sand pit was created in the school premises. They were all geared up with their gardening tools. They enjoyed creating their own castle and various other things.

'PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA': PM MODI'S INTERACTION WITH THE YUVA SHAKTI

On 29th January 2019 ,the students of Presidium Indirapuram got the golden opportunity to witness the interaction between the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and teachers, parents and students ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0’. Students from all over India and abroad attended the programme. Hon’ble Prime Minister talked about the issues related to examination stress, parental pressure and time management. He reiterated the importance of dreams and individual uniqueness. He also asked students to compete with their own selves and follow their passion. He further laid emphasis on making lucrative use of technology, practising sports and games, these being the key points in the holistic development of children. He advised parents not to levy the burden of their dreams on their children. Responding to a student’s query about goal setting he added that our goals must be difficult to reach but attainable, so that the urge to be persistent stays alive in the heart. Furthermore, he stressed on the need to develop life skills and practically apply the concepts learnt within the classroom to enhance understanding. He motivated the students to be curious about their surroundings and develop their reasoning skills. The Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi suggested the students to be stress free and embark on school life with full zeal. Indeed, Pariksha Pe Charcha was an extremely interactive, candid and inspiring session which will help students to prepare well for the forthcoming examinations.

FAREWELL CEREMONY: BIDDING GOODBYE TO THE OUTGOING BATCH

Presidium Indirapuram bid adieu to the batch of 2018-19 with a special farewell ceremony. ’Bon Voyage’ saw an amalgam of enthralling young Presidians and an ever charming gamut of memories that they carved throughout their school life. The event began with a melodious performance by the student band that lifted everyone’s mood. The gathering was addressed by the honourable chairperson Mrs. Sudha Gupta. Each student felt nostalgic and was left teary eyed. Students of grade 11 presented electrifying musical performances followed by the dance drama which was indeed ,an emotional delight. The mesmerising and thrilling performances left the senior students spellbound. A treat to watch, the fashion show was the highlight of the day. The young Presidians walked the ramp with elegance and poise. They showcased their wit and talent to win various prestigious titles. The event culminated with the most awaited announcement of the day, Mr. Presidium and Ms. Presidium titles ,which was bestowed upon Hari Thukral and Mehak respectively. The event came to end with a fun filled DJ session which made everyone delve in the rhythm of heart rendering beats.

YOUNG ARTISTS TAKE PART IN PUPPET MAKING ACTIVITY

It is said that “Great thoughts converted to practice will become great accomplishments”. Keeping this in mind, a puppet making competition was organised for the students of grades 4-5 of Presidium Indirapuram where in they made innovative and attractive puppets by using waste material. The aim of this competition was to develop the creative talent of the students, and give wings to their ideas. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and came up with various kinds of puppets like sock puppets, stick puppets and cloth puppets, using their creativity with the recycled materials like colour paper, ice cream sticks, gloves, waste cloth material, newspapers etc. It was an immense pleasure to see the blooming stars spreading their light around.

Itself.’ Folk dancing is a wonderful way to introduce young children to the world’s rich diversity and enable them to enjoy the art of dance, music and rhythm. It also provides opportunities for socialization and creates room for self - expression. With this thought and to showcase the hidden talents of Presidians Presidium Indirapuram organized an Inter class dance competition for the students of grade 2. The attractive costumes, fluid dance movements, and fascinating props made it tough for the judges to decide the winner. Students’ efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.

The patriotic fervor is at its peak on occasions like Republic Day. With an aim to keep up with this spirit of patriotism, Presidium Indirapuram celebrated this day with grandeur and solemnity. The celebrations began with a zestful march past and flag hoisting followed by the national anthem. Sudha Ma’am motivated the young leaders of tomorrow to keep up with the spirit of the Republic and take India to the path of success and prosperity with their hard work and perseverance. The celebrations of the 70th Republic Day was spectacular and beautifully rendered the spirit of pride and wisdom amongst the Presidians.
