Grade 4, 5, and 6 students created Detox salad with fruits and vegetables. The students were sensitized about the food we eat, or our diet helps in the prevention of diseases. It was an awareness campaign about the foods that help to prevent cancer. Berries, apples, garlic, tomatoes, and carrots are valuable as they are a powerhouse of antioxidants. The students enjoyed making the colorful salad and relished the healthy bowl of salad.

26th January 1950 was the day when the Indian republic and its constitution came into force. Students of Grade Nursery to 6th took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. Students were dressed up in tricolour dress and enjoyed beautiful tricolour craft activity. The teacher enlightened the significance of this day by showing them some patriotic musical videos/songs. Students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity, diversity, and uniqueness that is "India." Young patriots took a pledge that they would not let the efforts of our brave freedom fighters go in vain. We would strive to make our country the best in the world. Students showed their love and gratitude towards their country with the help of slogans like "Jai Hind," "I Love my India," created posters, made tricolour sandwiches, and also sang the National Anthem.

'Dancing is the most beautiful art because it is not mere translation or abstraction from life; it is life itself.' Western and folk dancing are wonderful ways to introduce young students to the world's rich diversity and enable them to enjoy the art of dance, music, and rhythm. It also provides opportunities for socialization and creates room for self-expression. With this thought and to showcase the hidden talents of Presidians, we organized an Inter class dance competition for the students of grades 2 and 3. The attractive costumes, fluid dance movements, and fascinating props made it tough for the judges to decide the winner. Students' efforts and initiative were appreciated by one and all.

Ek Bharat Sreshtha Bharat is a program that aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through state/UT pairing. It helps us celebrate India's idea as a nation wherein different cultural units across varied geographies merge and interact with each other and enable people to imbibe the innate chord of binding and brotherhood. With Presidium's ongoing commitment to "Experiential learning" and to ensure that students enjoy and learn new things, a multiple assessment activity was organized under the theme of "EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT" where students of Grade 7th and 8th prepared a PowerPoint presentation in which they included Soil and Forests of the states Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. The students included different soil types, trees, crops, benefits, endangered species, factors affecting soil erosion, and steps taken by the government to prevent soil erosion and deforestation. Our young and talented Presidians possessed diverse talents, communication skills, strengths and thoroughly enjoyed presenting their work in teams.

Army Day is celebrated on January 15 every year in India. It is on this historic day that General KM Cariappa became the first Indian to take charge of the Indian Army in 1949. To honour their service and salute their sacrifices, students of Grade 1,3, 7 & 8 paid homage to these conquering heroes who safeguard their countrymen in all difficult situations. Students dressed up like soldiers and presented their tribute through pictures, videos, slogans, posters, songs, and poems. The activity made them aware of the primary mission of the Indian Army and also acquainted them with how they defend the nation from external aggression and international threats.

Makar Sankranti is mainly a harvest festival and the festival of joy and happiness. Sankranti is perhaps the only Indian festival that falls on the same day every year (14th January). Makar Sankranti is all about prayers, sweets, and kites. Presidians of Grade 2 came in colorful dresses during the online class. To enhance the spirit of the festivitie, they made kites with colorful paper. Celebrating festivals bring awareness and build cultural belief in students. These festivals allow indulging students in different activities and explore their creativity.
